Louisiana Legislative Acts Summaries

Every year, the staff of the Louisiana legislature writes a summary of each new bill, including those later enacted as Acts, and posts the summaries on the website of the Louisiana legislature. Each year since 2006, we have downloaded most or all of the legislative staff summaries of the bills that were enacted into Acts, edited them slightly, and then assembled them in a logical order, primarily to alert our attorneys of the passage of new laws relevant to their practices. As a courtesy to others interested in getting a general idea of the new laws passed by the Louisiana legislature each year, copies of our annual PDFs may be downloaded below.

Our degree of comprehensiveness and editing each year (which has varied over the years) is indicated on the second page of each PDF under the "Contents" subheading.
