James Slaton and Fritz Metzinger to Discuss Premises Liability Implications of Mass Shooting Events

James Slaton and Fritz Metzinger will present "Premises Liability Implications of Mass Shooting Events" to the Association of Corporate Counsel, Louisiana Chapter on October 31, 2018.  The presentation will evaluate the duty of businesses to prevent third-party criminal acts, with a focus on mass shootings.  James and Fritz will discuss the legal foreseeability of the risk of a mass shooting and what steps a business owner might take to help protect itself from that liability, including insurance considerations.
