Dan Walter to Speak at the Louisiana Technology Park about Opportunity Zones

Dan Walter will present "Opportunity Zones: Raising Capital and Investing Responsibly while Saving Taxes" at the Louisiana Technology Park on March 12, 2019. The presentation will provide an overview of the federal OZ program and will discuss how the OZ tax benefits may be leveraged by business owners to reduce their cost of capital and how investors may use the program to deploy capital in real estate projects and operating businesses located in deserving areas while saving taxes at the same time. Multiple examples of deal structures will be discussed to demonstrate how the OZ program may be used.
