Gabriel Silva Joins Stone Pigman as a New Associate
Stone Pigman is pleased to announce that Gabriel Silva has joined the firm as an associate in its New Orleans office.
Silva joins Stone Pigman following several years specializing in litigation and transactional work at another New Orleans law firm, where he represented clients in maritime cases, international trade deals, and commercial business matters.
Silva graduated cum laude from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he represented the school in several Moot Court and Trial Advocacy competitions. He was a member of the Journal of Public Interest Law and inducted into the Order of Barristers.
Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, Silva has applied his multilingual capabilities throughout his law practice, particularly in international trade cases. A native of Brazil, Silva found his way to Louisiana as a high school exchange student and furthered his education at the University of Louisiana in Monroe where he earned a Master of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance, and a Bachelor of Arts in political science.
“Gabe brings extensive knowledge and a fresh perspective to our firm,” said Michael Walshe, chair of Stone Pigman’s Management Committee. “He’s a great addition to our growing team of lawyers.”
“I’m drawn to the collaborative work culture at Stone Pigman and look forward to working with supportive colleagues who are committed to helping their clients succeed,” Silva said.
At Stone Pigman, Silva will practice in the firm’s litigation section.
